Students were allowed to revamp any real or a made up business. This made up business is called Sleep Away Hotel, where the objective was to make the business convey this hotel is where you will definitely get a good night’s sleep.

Book Cover Design
Students were assigned to design 3 book cover designs for their favorite author. I chose James Patterson and his Alex Cross series: Cross, Cross Fire, and Cat & Mouse.
Design a Historical Moment Assignment
Students were assigned to design a significant historical event. I decided to base my design off of Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech.
Revamp KCRW Radio
Students were assigned to revamp any known business. We must provide business cards, commercial advertisement, and poster designs for the business. After research, I chose a radio station based in Los Angeles called KCRW Radio.
KCRW Radio is a National Public Radio member station broadcasting from the campus of Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California, where the station is licensed. KCRW airs original news and music programming in addition to programming from NPR and other affiliates.

Magazine Design
Students were given an assignment to design a 10 page magazine about a topic that interests us. I decided to create a opinated magazine about the downfall of the Music Genre, Hip-Hop/Rap. I provide factual information about the history of Hip-hop, quotes from Hip-hop pioneers, and state my opinon towards the end.
